Bookout & Co. is owned and run by Katelyn Bookout out of a converted print shop on West Webster Street in Springfield, Missouri. We outfit American businesses with embroidered uniforms, branded apparel, and corporate gifts.
A note from Katelyn.
My dad ran a small construction outfit in Greene County. Every spring he tried to find someone who'd stitch his crew's name on a polo and not make him feel like a nuisance. Most of the time, nobody called back.
In 2019 I bought a used embroidery head off a classified ad in Joplin, set it up in our garage, and stitched his first thirty polos myself. By the end of that summer his neighbor's HVAC company called. Then a plumber. Then a hotel in Branson. The garage filled up.
Today we run out of a 4,200 square-foot workshop on West Webster Street with five employees, three industrial embroidery heads, an automatic screen press, and a phone that we genuinely do still answer. The work hasn't really changed — pick up when it rings, send a real proof, ship it on time, and stand behind it.
